A


Audience: The total number of individuals or target, who have seen at least one station in a minute. (It stressed Minute due to the minimum measure unit used by AGB).

Alfa Coeficient "ALFA": The ration between the Reception Share and the Emission Share for a specified program. It indicate when a program is attracting a higher audience to it.

Formula:
ALFA = RSH / ESH

Average Minute Audience "AMA": The average number of individuals or (homes or target group) viewing a TV channel, which is calculated per minute during a specified period of time over the program duration.

Formula:
AMA = EA / L

AMA= Average audience per minute
EA = Estimate Audience

L = Large

Average Time Spent “ATS”: Average of the total minutes viewed divided by the total viewing individuals universe.

Beta Coeficient "BETA": The ration between the Reception Share of a program and the Reception Share of all the channels during the same period of time of the program. Indicated if the conduct of the broadcasting time program is worse, same or better..

Formula:
BETA = RSH (programa en estudio) / RSH (de todos los demás canales)

Cost Per Gross Ratings Points "Cost x GRP´S":  Average cost per rating point of a campaign.

Formula:

Cost Per Thousand "CPM": Average cost of every 1000 individuals who has seen an advertising campaign.


Formula:
CPM = Costo Total / (GRP´S x Target)

CPM = Cost per thousand
TotalCost = total Cost of the campaign
GRP´S = Cumulative Audience

Target = Selected group

Concentration Of Viewing (“CoV”): Index that compares the Share of the “Focus” Target with the Share of a “Reference” Target.

Formula:
CoV= Share Target analizado/Share del Target Base * 100

Coverage Share (“CSHR”): es el Share entre los canales analizados.

Response Curve: It is one of the qualitative current variables of the system which represent the recalled level of an advertising campaign, related with the number of exposition given by a recalled campaign research.

Encendid: The sum of homes and individuals viewiers on a specific period of time.

Frequency "OTS": The average numbers of times that an individual of a target audience who have been counted at least once as viewers to a Schedule of advertising spot (or sequence programs), have counted as/vierwers.
The sum of the ratings (GRP´S) divide by Reach, equal OTS.

Gross Rating Points ("GRP´S"): The sum of the ratings of one or more period of time.

Adhesion "ADH": Represents the weight of the selected target on total viewing in a specific time.

Formula:
Adhesión= % del Grupo Objetivo en el total audiencia/ Total audiencia


Affinity "AFF": Ratio between the index of the target audience rating and the base audience rating; generally it is used the total of individuals as base target.

Formula:

Average Time Spent "ATS": Average of the total minutes seen by each individual who has seen the programme or daypart in a specific period of time.

Formula:

Reception Share "RSH": The average of the rating on a select channel during a specific period of time   compared to the average rating of the total period of time in the same station.

Formula:
RSH = (Total of GRP del programa / Total of GRP day) x 100

Emission Share "ESH": Duration of the event related to the total broadcasting time of the station.

Formula:
ESH = (Viewing programme or daypart / Viewing broadcasting day) x 100

Average Minute Rating "AMR": The average of the audience per minute divide by the total of a population   or target

Formula:
AMR % = (AMA / TGT) x 100

Where:
AMR% = Average rating per mminute
AMA = Average audience per minute
TGT = Total of individuals or tagett.

Rating ("R"): Average per minute seen by a number of people in a specific period of time.

Reach ("RCH"): The cumulative percentage or total of a population that has been counted as viewers at least once during a specified interval.

Exclusive Reach "ER": Number of individuals who, during the period of analysis, have watched only one channel/program for a least one minute.
