Through this expansion and growth, AGB Nielsen Media Research has accumulated a wealth of experience and know-how in setting up new systems and managing existing ones, and retains this know-how with the AGB Nielsen Media Research Corporate Support Centre.
The mission of AGB Nielsen Media Research Corporate Support Centre, and its’ specialist subsidiaries, is to establish a repository of AGB Nielsen Media Research know-how, and to use this know-how in the support of operating companies, and the establishment of new companies, with state-of-the-art hardware and software as well as expert client and consulting services.
The AGB Nielsen Media Research Corporate Support Centre is responsible for providing operating companies with products and services including:

Research, development, production, maintenance and support of proprietary metering technology;

In-house development, maintenance and support of proprietary Production Software, for data polling, validation, weighting and quality control;

In-house development for an efficient production of TV events data; and

In-house development of Analysis Software, for viewing behaviour analysis, TV planning and optimisation, advertising expenditure analysis and campaign post-evaluation.
The Corporate Support Centre is also responsible for:

Securing the AGB Nielsen Media Research brand name through the control of quality standards;

Providing training and support to operational companies, in all aspects of the AGB Nielsen Media Research TAM system;

Establishment of new operations; and

International marketing and communications for the AGB Nielsen Media Research Group of companies.
